An allegorican - or prosopopian - headmate is the embodiment or personification of a concept that is integral or otherwise personally meaningful to a system. These headmates may by symbolic of key moments in the systems life, or represent a process the system is going through. As such, they may be constant, or may change according to the change the system is going through.

Examples include personifications of significant events, trauma, and healing processes.

Allegorican headmates may hold any other role within a system.
