A system member originating from another time period- antemates typically have memories from the time they originate from, and oftentimes enter the system with little to no knowledge of the modern-day. coined with non-introjects in mind, but antefictive, antefactive, etc. could also be used.[1]

From Latin “ante” (meaning “ago”, “previously”).
