An automisiagenic system, headmate, or headmate grouping is formed from the self-hatred of another headmate or headmate grouping, causing a split. In the case of an automisiagenic system, the member the self-hatred came from may be an original or a core.
History
Automisiagenic is coined by the Refracted Light System (collectively Lux) on many different Discord servers to describe their origin, as they felt that neither endogenic nor traumagenic accurately described their experiences.[1] The name was taken from the Greek-derived English affixes auto- (self) and -misia (hate).
