A bionaut is a headmate who handles external life due to being disconnected from past trauma. Because they are unburdened from past experiences (whether from emotional apathy, amnesia, or other factors), it makes them a good candidate to handle fronting long term.[1]

Related Terms

Caesian is similar to bionaut, as they both mean headmates detached from a system's trauma (whether it be bodily trauma, exotrauma, intratrauma, etc.) However, the latter specifies that the headmate in question is at least partially in charge of daily life.

Like outernaut & perinaut, the -naut suffix relates to fronting habits.
