blossom ( n.)
Other formsblossom bot, blossombot

Blossom was a plurality dictionary that offered both a Discord bot and a website. It had many common terms and also took community submissions via their Discord server.

History[edit | edit source]

Blossom was taken down in late 2020 due to controversies about the definitions it hosted and the process by which they were added and removed. Several users had requested their terms be removed, and had their requests ignored. There were also concerns about lack of credit on definitions, or for not representing certain terms well.

The website was originally hosted at blossombot.pink, but it is no longer available.

After the bot was taken down, many other projects started up in an attempt to fill the void it created. This includes Pluralpedia, askStentor, Plural Wiki (Fandom), and more.

A warning regarding Plural Wiki: The server has been hijacked and the whole thing has anti-endo vandalism and shocking content.
