CoinerChangelings

A cartographer headmate is used to make maps of the internal world. These maps could be only viewable in-system or only in the outside world. In very large groups, multiple cartographers may be needed to fully map out the headspace.

This term does not refer to the practice of "system mapping": drawing connections, hierarchies, split histories, etc., often for use in therapy.

Related Terms

Cartographers may also be archivists or scouts, or work in tandem with them.
