A chimeric polyfragmented system is polyfragmented, polyplural, polymultiple, or polyfaceted system that consists of distinct groups that may be viewed as their own systems due to size and/or complexity.[1]
This term purposely stands alone from sisasystems and group models for the sake of variety and simplicity. The name is loaned from a creature in Greek mythology known for having multiple heads.
