Dæmonism is the practice of communicating with one's internal dæmon, inspired by Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials novels. The term may refer to the community, the practice, the presence of a dæmon, or the act of a dæmian communicating with their dæmon.

Some daemians consider daemonism to fall under the plurality spectrum, while others do not. Plural daemians may have individual daemons associated with each member, a collective daemon, or something else. Not all members of a system may participate in daemonism.[citation needed]
