Derealization is a type of dissociation that includes feelings of being detached from the world or things around oneself, or a foggy or distorted world. It's described in various ways, such as feeling like a mech pilot in one's own body.
Like other forms of dissociation, derealization is not specific to plural systems. In a plurality context though, it can often coincide with blending.
