A disciplinarian is a type of protector headmate who disciplines other headmates with good intentions to promote better behavior.

A disciplinarian might not front to deal with outside threats. It may be a specialty of theirs instead of having to deal with the world. They may hear from another person in command, like the host or a gatekeeper, to punish headmates who may have acted out of line or against system rules. This may allow another protector to focus on external threats, while the disciplinarian punishes inside threats.

Enforcers play a similar role, but they are more often directly instructed by abusers to do their job, unlike disciplinarians. Imprisoners may be seen as a subtype of disciplinarian.
