A distive is a headmate that started out as an introject but later became disconnected to that identity due to trauma.

A distive can choose to remain disconnected or may attempt to rebuild connection to their introject identity. "Dis-" can be added onto other introject terms as a prefix, such as fictive (disfictive) or factive (disfactive).

A disfictive who remains disconnected from their introject identity may also call themself a post-fictive, just as a disfactive may also call themself a post-factive.

Clostive may be considered an antonym.
