A double is a headmate that shares an identity with another headmate. Usually, this occurs in two ways:

  1. A headmate shares an identity with another system member (like two fictives of the same character, even if one is nonsimilous);
  2. A headmate based mostly/completely off of an existing system member (like a snapshot).
