Dream-combing refers to the stored memories of dreams in a specific part of the inner world that gets "combed" (or looked over) for new system members.

Theres usually a memory bank of stored dreams (fragments of dreams; shards, partial memories, etc...) that a headmate is tasked to go over (not as consistently, but that is all right) to welcome new system members into the system.

Some dream-seekers may go to another plane of existence (either outside, or inside the headspace) where the dreams are still happening to meet with the people there and welcome any new members, if any.
