Applies toheadmates

Factives are headmates that are based on a factional or non-fictional source, like another person. Sources can include celebrities, historical figures, friends, abusers, or anyone else. The source can be a singlet or a member of a system (including their own, or someone else's).

Introject is an umbrella term that includes fictives and factives, which can be considered medical and avoided by certain types of systems.[2] Though some systems consider the term to be open for use in a non-medical context, the term should not be used for systems without their consent.

Fictives are headmates based on a fictional source.

Soulbonds can include factives.

Factlings are headmates in median systems who identifies as both, or somewhere between, being a factive and factkin.

Factive-flux is when a headmate's connection to their source(s) varies over time. A post-factive is someone who no longer identifies as what they were originally a factive of.

A semi-factive is someone who is partially a factive in some way, and a fogtive is a headmate who is partially, almost, or somewhat a factive but does not feel the label is entirely correct. Similarly, a factional is a headmate with a source, but doesn't connect entirely with their source self or the connection is spiritual.

A system with many, or mostly, factives can be called a factive-heavy system.
