Faegenic is a term which describes a system or headmate that feel they came from the fae and/or are a changeling. Examples may include:

  • A delusion related to believing you are a fae/changeling.
  • A delusional attachment to the fae/changelings.
  • A spiritual system that are connected to the fae/changelings.
  • Autistic systems that reclaim the concept of changelings.
  • Nonhuman members of a system that feel they came from the fae/are a changeling.
  • Gateway or dreamway systems that have walk-ins that are from the fae/are changelings.
  • Other reasons not listed here.

History

Faegenic was created at an unknown time by Tumblr user girlboygirlfriend, and later officially coined by Tumblr user cripptid on July 3rd, 2022.[1]
