a frontlocked Alter, or Headmate is an alter(or headmate) that is unable to leave front, or "locked in front". This is normally a long period of time (months to years) or forever, but a frontlocked alter can eventually leave front, but not usually. This is not the same as Frontstuck as these alters rarely are able to leave front, if at all, or Frontlocked as other alters are able to come and go into cofront as they please.
