Gendiegenic (or gendergenic) is an origin term for systems, members, or headspaces that have origins somewhat connected to gender.[1]

This can be for a variety of reasons, which include, but are not limited to:

  • Systems or system members forming to help cope with dysphoria.
  • Forming because of the trauma of growing up raised as the “wrong” gender (in which case it would be a type of traumagenic).
  • Median (sub)systems (or others) with facets and/or medianmates forming to embody or express genders.
  • As gender entities.
  • Innerworlds/layers forming because of or existing as cosmien gender realms (this subtype is called cosmiengenic or cosmigenic).
