A heraicen (HEH-ra-sen or HE-ray-IS-sen) is a headmate who can function as both a caretaker and/or a persecutor depending on the situation.

History[edit | edit source]

Heraicen was coined on April 6, 2022 by the Angeliic Gestalt, who noticed that there weren't any terms to describe this experience. They coined this term for a headmate of theirs, who is this role herself and who recommended that the name be derived from Hera, the Greek goddess of marriage.

Related Terms[edit | edit source]

A janusian is a headmate who can function as both a protector and/or a persecutor depending on the situation.

Caretaker and persecutor both have many subterms; soother, guide, and hygienist for the former, and swordsperson and avenger for the latter. While trechtor is not a role, it could be a useful descriptor as well.
