imvu ( n.)

IMVU (often stylized as imvu) is a 3D multi-user chat program that uses designable avatars within pre-set chatrooms. A typical room can host up to ten users, although "Live" rooms can host up to one hundred.

Being a 3D program with customizable avatars, IMVU is considered useful for systems, as each headmate can have a custom display avatar to switch out while fronting.

As of 2015, IMVU is also the parent company of FurAffinity.[1]
