Interlaced is a descriptor for a set of partitionary headmates that are connected in such a way that changes to one affect the other.
For example, if one headmate fused with another and experienced a change in gender, any headmates they were interlaced with would also experience a gender change.
This could be for any reason; being in-system twins or clones, having formed from the same split, and being part of the same subsystem are some examples of things that could cause the connection.[1]
