Internal Protectors are a form of Protector whose role is to protect specifically headmates internally, be it from other headmates, or for any other reason, such as being a DNI Holder.

Internal Protectors may also take on any other Protector role in order to best perform their duties, or they may simply just be able to protect internally.

Related Terms

These headmates can also fall under being a Janusian, as they are a form of Protector.

Internal Protectors might also be considered a type of Gatekeeper if they are able to prevent headmates from fronting or can remove headmates from front if deemed necessary, but not all Internal Protectors have this ability, so the two don't necessarily go hand-in-hand.

Headmates who handle external threats may be External Protectors.
