Isolgenic or socinagenic is an origin in which a system, headmate, subsystem, or other structure formed due to isolation and/or social neglect.

Isol- comes from the word isolation and socina- comes from social & neglect.[1]

Isolgenic can be classed under traumagenic or stressgenic, but those labels are optional. It is also similar to the term solumgenic, as they are both influenced by some level of isolation and ostracization.

It was created on August 19, 2021, by Tumblr user icarusoblivion to help explain their system's experience with plurality and their origins.

The flag was created on the same day by the same user, it was created to resemble the solumgenic flag, as these terms are similar.

A second flag was coined by Tumblr user mad-kinnie on January 2nd, 2023.[2]
