A lapidarym indicates a system is median in a system name or title, similar to how system, collective, polyplex, etc. are used.
Based on the word “lapidary”, the process of cutting a gemstone, or the gemstone cutter themselves; meant to reference the nature of median facets. Hybrid systems are also welcome to use the term.[1]
