masochist ( n.)

A masochist is the opposite of a Sadist. A masochist is an alter role that describes an alter that is masochistic in nature specifically as part of their role. They might have these tendencies as a role on its own, or it might be part of another larger role such as a protector that holds these tendencies for their own sake so they can better protect the system by enjoying certain things that they protect the system from. It might also be part of a persecutor's role, if they carry these tendencies so that persecuting is easier on them and harder on the rest of the system. This is specifically part of an alter's role, rather than being just a preference.
