A mostive is a system member who is an introject of a character that another member of the system created, especially for a roleplaying game or similar.[1]

The defining trait is that the character was created from scratch or close to it, rather than altered from an already existing character.

It's derived from the Latin 'mos' meaning 'customize'.

A mostive is a kind of fictive, and can also be an autoject. If the traits of the mostive influence the further development of the character, this headmate may be considered an ouroboros.
