NHaetas is a term that refers to the experience of age in anyone that is nonhuman or not considered fully human in some way. This term can be used by otherkin, extranths, and even introjects. It is exclusive to headmates. Those with an NHaetas identity can experience it in many different ways. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Being otherkin and feeling as if they experience age in a similar way as their kintype would.
  • Being a fictive and feeling as if their fictional source caused them to not experience age in the same way that a non-sourced individual would.
  • Being an introject or kin of something that does not experience age in the same way humans do, such as objects, plants, and concepts.

Someone who identifies as NHaetas may have an age that they can put into human numbers, though they usually can't for any reason. The term NHaetas was made specifically for headmates that feel as if they do not have a physical age to use as a reference. In a headspace, headmates may appear as their perceived age, even if that age is not a human age. These ages may be described with numbers, words, concepts, and more.
