An observation deck is an area in headspace that is visible from the front, and from that the front is visible in turn. Headmates in the observation deck are not fronting themselves, but can be viewed as lightly co-conscious.

In headspace architecture, the observation deck might be adjacent to a fronting room, and may be any area in the headspace from that the inside of the fronting room is visible.
