An observer is a headmate who hovers or is co-conscious with other headmates frequently. This means that they are almost always observing everything that happens in the outer world. Observer headmates may find that they experience little to no memory loss, if compared to headmates that may experience that. May be compared to Inner Self Helper, in that observers also tend to know a lot about their system. Some observers may prefer not to front or front rarely, and instead just watch everything from the sidelines.
