An outernaut is an alternative to the term host. It's a headmate who is primarily in charge of fronting, external life, and daily matters. A system may have one, multiple, fluid, or no outernauts.

Related Terms[edit | edit source]

It was coined with the term perinaut, but the suffix has been used later on with dissonaut & bionaut. It is based off "astronaut", as they are both individuals who explore and exist in outside worlds; whether it be space, or the shared reality.

An innernaut is the opposite of an outernaut, being any headmate who is not the host/co-host.

History[edit | edit source]

Outernaut was created specifically for the Blossom bot, but after the shutdown, the Future Hope Collective created this page for their terms, to create a proper citation.[1]
