A paraling is a parative identity facet in a median system who has experiences and feelings in common with both previselves and paraselves, previmes and parames, or rarely preveras and paras, in a way that makes them feel positioned somewhere between or adjacent to the two.[1]

A fableing is a fictional identity facet who has experiences in common with fictives or fuzztives and fictionkin, a factling is a factual identity facet who has experiences in common with factives or fogtives and factkin, and a faetling is a fictional and factual identity facet who has experiences in common with both faitives or faintives and fictionkin/factkin. Depending on the paracosm a paraling originated from, they may also identify with any of the above terms.

A system who has paralings may have Maladaptive Daydreaming Disorder, or they may be immersive daydreamers or neuronarrators.
