Partnergenic is an endogenic origin which refers to a headmate of the system which forms primarily in response to another headmate in one's partner system, typically to be a counterpart, partner, or companion for them. [1]

Those which the headmate has formed in response to may be called a muse. More than one headmate may be a muse at once.

Partnergenic headmates may experience a connection with their muse, feeling synced, linked or bonded with their muse or otherwise bound together by fate. Due to this deeper understanding, the Partnergenic headmate and their muse may have a quickly developing relationship, or feel like they already know one another soon after forming.

This term is primarily intended as an Endogenic origin, but it can be used to describe traumagenic experiences or negative muses.
