OriginPsychiatric Term

Scripts are movies used in programming to assist in structuring a system. It often influences the specific alters created, the inner world, and internal mechanics. For example, a system structured using Harry Potter may have the same kind of magic, similar inner world locations like The Whomping Willow or Hogwarts, and characters representing parts of trauma. Sometimes, a movie is not used; instead, something else the group has designed will be substituted. Television shows aren't commonly used, as the breaks between shows can interrupt the process.

Scripts are paired with various forms of abuse. The dissociation caused by the trauma gives access by abusers to implant the script into the mind & system.
