Source Regression is characterized by a headmate, usually an introject, going back to a specific state of their source. Examples of this can be if an introject is a ghost currently, they could go back to when they were alive for a period of time.

Sometimes, this can affect the age of the headmate, simultaneously causing age regression.

How long the headmate may be in this state differs between person.
