The Plural Code (PLC) is an emoji-based code designed to help plural systems convey a lot about their system in a short amount of space.[2]

The Plural Code was inspired by The Multiple Code, another code for a similar purpose. The Plural Code aims to be more simplified than The Multiple Code, but The Multiple Code may go into more detail than The Plural Code.[3]
