Time loss is when a headmate or system loses track of the passage of time. This can be caused by dissociation, blending, from not being co-conscious, or other reasons. Typically does not include activities like sleeping, loss of consciousness, or other mental states shared with singlets.

Dormancy is when a headmate permanently or semi-permanently ceases to exist. If they do come back, they frequently experience time loss.
Time gain is the inverse, where a headmate experiences more passage of time in their current location (headspace, or elsewhere) than has elapsed in the shared reality.
