A unitian is a member in a system who is actually made up of several “smaller” members.[1] This member can also be called a unitive.
The presenting member themself is not an individual person, and is instead made up of multiple members who “make up” the presenting member.
Unitian is the general term for this experience. The adjective is “unitic” and can be used to describe systems as well (ex: a unitic subsystem).
