A veritbond or a verit is someone/something someone who is an immersive daydreamer or has maladaptive daydreaming disorder feels a deeper connection with, or feels goes beyond being a para. [1]

Veritbonds can be autonomous or controlled, or aware or unaware of being a verit. Though the daydreamer always feels and intense connection to them, like being a twin flame, close friend, or partner.

History

The term was coined by Tumblr user maladaptive-roses with help from dayscreaming in 2019. "Verit" is a shortening of the Latin word "veritas", meaning true. [1]
