An archivist is a headmate who is especially knowledgeable about events that happen to the system, both in the headspace and outside to the body. They may also store and organize this information by using constructs in the headspace such as folders and files or someother form of data packet.

An archivist may also function as an internal self helper, gatekeeper or overseer. Some may be omniscient, but others are not. They may work in tandem with scouts and receptionists, as they can report new headmates to archivists.

Lorekeeper may be considered a synonym.

A legacy holder is a headmate who holds all knowledge gained by the system, while using that knowledge to support the system.
