Canon Shift refers to where an introtive always has extra timeline(s)/canon memories, but one is their main timeline or canon. Sometimes, they shift closer in memories and/or feelings to one canon or another.

These are exocanons, as these were experienced by the introtive, but in a different timeline.

The canon shift may or may not affect the introtive in question. They could become more or less emotional, their personality could change, or everything could stay the same but different memories for the time being.

A canon shifting introtive can have multiple canons or timelines, or just the two.
