A Double Agent is a type of Protector who pretends to go along with an abuser and fulfils tasks set by them in order to gain trust or protection. This may include causing harm to the body or other people.

Similar to an Enforcer or Instructed-Persecutor in that abuse lessons and tasks are enforced in the system, but different in that the Double Agent carries out these tasks themselves and only does so when being observed by an abuser.

Double Agents may be viewed as a subtype of Martyr, and may also be guilt holders.
