Egotraugenic is an origin term for systems or headmates that formed due to actions committed by themselves, or an action done by the body. The action does not always have to be something negative, though it is likely.

The term was coined by The Peristeronic System on June 16, 2023 on Pluralpedia. The term came from the word ego, which is "self" in many languages, and the word trauma. Though it has the word trauma in it, this does not mean the origin is always a traumagenic one.
