An ex-host is a headmate who used to be a host but has since retired from said role. Could have been for any reasons including mental health, exhaustion, dormancy, splitting, etc.

An ex-host may have retired for good, may have temporarily passed their role on to a temp-host, may be part of a rotating front team, or may consider returning to host duties at an unspecified later time.
