A faetling is a fictional and factual identity facet in a median system who has experiences and feelings in common with both faitives or faintives and fictionkin/factkin in a way that makes them feel positioned somewhere between or adjacent to the two.[1]

A fableing is a fictional identity facet who has experiences in common with fictives or fuzztives and fictionkin, while a factling is a factual identity facet who has experiences in common with factives or fogtives and factkin. Just as a faitive could be considered a mix of fictive and factive, a faetling could be considered a mix of fableing and factling.
