Front Roulette describes the state of a system's front in which the next headmate to switch in seems to be chosen at random. At-will switching may still be possible, but will be interrupted by the next round of front roulette.

Front Gacha is a state during which the time of the next switch is random. Rapid Switching cycles may overlap if the front roulette speeds up.
