A frontal awareness burst (FAB for short, or just awareness burst) is the sensation of suddenly being hyperaware immediately after a switch, where everything seems more vivid, the Sun is hotter, colors are more vibrant., smells are sweeter and pain the previous fronter ignored is suddenly more acute.
