The headmate printer is a generally-abstract concept present in many systems and plural collectives, wherein there is either an abstract energy that produces headmates over time, or seeing specific things (media, ideas, anything really) can trigger the formation or soulbonding of new system members, often but not always introtives. This phenomenon goes by many names, and has been widely adopted in plural discussions and slang. Printer Fuel is a term for fictional characters or media personages that commonly trigger the headmate printer in systems, and Timeline Juice is a related but distinct concept. When producing or revealing entire worlds, rather than individual headmates, the headmate printer may be called a 3D printer instead.
