Hivegenic refers the process whereby a headmate originates from within a cluster or "hive" of existing headmates. When the hive encounters a situation which calls for a specialization or an emotional response outside the scopes of the existing headmates in the hive, a new headmate can form within the hive to handle it. This new headmate may share traits with the other members of the hive.
This may occur in multiple or median sisasystems.
