identityshifter ( n.)

CoinerViridian

Identityshifters have a consciousness that can shift between multiple identities, taking on their traits and becoming a different system member.

All members sharing a consciousness in this way have a continuity of experience, but are distinct in other respects.

A member in this kind of system exists only when fronting, and cannot have thoughts outside the shared consciousness.

Distinct members in such a system may consider one another to be the same person.
