Interflux refers to a member that frequently fluctuates in and out of dormancy.[2]

The act of going in and out of dormancy like this may be called flickering.

History[edit | edit source]

This term is derived from the Latin prefix Inter- — between, among, during — and flux — flowing in and out of.

Inerflux may be an alternative version referring to inertia, it may also simply be a typo.
