Interpreter is a headmate with the role of being able to interpret the necessities of non-verbal or semi-verbal headmates.

They can serve as negotiators in situations where a headmate may be easily misinterpreted.

It’s not uncommon for interpreters to be limited in languages foreign of their own so they’ll either depend on body language or hold a strong enough bond to understand another headmate.
